LEO ZHENGXUAN WU

Leo is a Ph.D. candidate in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Connecticut, specializing in Environmental and Energy Economics.

His research examines how short-term rental markets of Airbnb in NYC can be used to estimate the value of statistical life, and how global electric vehicle policies—beginning in 2014 and accelerating in recent years—shape economic behavior and consumer welfare. His research aims to inform policy design and business insights at the intersection of environmental regulation, energy transition, and behavioral economics.
